In 1924, following a deal with Thomas Shelby to burn evidence regarding King George's involvement in the explosion of the railway of the Soviets, it was planned that Lord Chamberlain would intervene in the execution of the Shelbys. Since a local judge brought the executions forward, Arthur Bigge, the King’s Private Secretary, had to quickly intervene to prevent the executions.
