The original Shelby Family Car in the First Series is a c.1919 black English Ford Model T built at Trafford Park, Manchester. As the Shelbys move up the social scale they get more impressive and expensive cars: by the Third Series these include sports tourers by Sunbeam, Vauxhall and Bentley.
