With his friend and fellow Irish Republican Army member Ryan, he visits Thomas Shelby at The Garrison Pub to discuss the rumoured stolen guns. The two men tell Thomas that it is rumoured that the Peaky Blinders gang are in possession of the guns, and that they would be willing to pay the gang a large sum of money to have them.
Maguire also sings the song, "The Boys of the Old Brigade" to Thomas before leaving the pub with Ryan.
