To be clear, I love OB. However, throughout all series, authenticity has been highly questionable. As a Brumny born in the 50's, elements of both the geography and the culture have been questionable, and, of course, the accents have been awful, for anybody who knows the true Birmingham accent (at opposed to the Black Country absent) But the final episode of the current series really pushed it too far with its depiction of Bingley Hall. It is shown as if it were a theatre, from its entrance, shown as a traditional theatre entrance, to the interior which is shown as a full theatre layout, with traditional stage, stalls, circle and balcony. I recall Bingley Hajj well and it was never anything like this, it was an exhibition hall (the first ev…Read more >
Greeting to everyone!
I know this is not an immediate matter of concern but I'd just want the community to know my interest in adopting the wiki. The admins of this wiki has been inactive for sometime and I think there needs a whole lot of addition, changes and improvements to the wiki overall. With the fifth series in development and to be released sometime in the coming year, I would be glad to commit to the wiki as an Admin in order to keep it free from vandalism as well as keeping the info up-to-date with latest info as much as possible.
Looking forward to hear your opinions on my proposition.Read more >
I found these videos on Youtube I think others would be interested in about the real Peaky Blinders, presented with authentic Birmingham accent (ha ha). Peaky Blinders is a very good drama though it is entirely fictional yet borrows some realities from different time periods. Although not real it is definitely made believable (despite some possible magical elements). Here are the two videos (totally not made or owned by me, all copyright held by the creators):

There is a general structure we follow for editing pages here on the Wiki. I have sorted this guide into parts for easier reading. If you have any questions, message me! Wstnwl (talk) 03:57, June 1, 2016 (UTC)Ways
Images help the Wiki have a nice overall appearance, and make for easier reading of large paragraphs. Most images have a pattern in their naming. For example, and image of Thomas and Grace will be named ThomasGrace1, and then further images of them together will be named ThomasGrace2, ThomasGrace3, etc. To search if an image name already exists, type it into the search menu.
The same goes for places. For example, Ada in the library would be named AdaLibrary1, AdaLibrary2, etc.
Images of two characters together is as such: eg> CharlieAndC…

If any of you guys want to read the show's script, not all the episodes are open to the public, but the pilot is.
You can check it out here: S1E1 Script by Steven Knight
It's really interesting to see what Stephen included in the script but didn't make it into the episode, such as a close-up of an old picture of the Shelby brothers in their home. If you re-watch the episode while reading the script you can also take note of small dialogue changes the actors made, though there aren't many. Also, the scene order in the official first episode is a bit different than the order in the script, which is interesting as well.
I just realized that the Series 2 Episode 1 Script is also open to the public.
You can check it out here: S2E1 Script by St…Read more >
